This will be VERY Exciting!! Chris (lead guitarist of Fred Yukka) is flying over from the UK and will be performing a once only performance with myself of “Livin on Venus” as well as one other track.
We played all the songs on the set list our gig was reviewed as well. The gig involved the first time outing of “Love god” and “Myspace Blues” and “Hot Chicks and Roller Skates”
Somewhere along the spectrum of satire to rock god sits Jimmy Yukka......Clad in leather high-pants, Yukka rips off his posh cream silk shirt to reveal a more working class Chesty Bonds
....He screams his way though the Eurythmics inspired “Love God” ...There may not be a director and writer behind Yukka (yet...), but put The Amazing Band on at the Fringe Club or The Spiegletent and we’ll be swapping our long necks for wine glasses and calling it cabaret.
