JIMMY YUKKA
Vocalist and guitarist Jimmy Yukka loves his music and performing front of a crowd. He enjoys a range of different styles of music that are reflected in song writing. He currently resides in Melbourne.
Originally from Sheffield UK where he was the lead singer for Fred Yukka (2002-2005)which was a 3 piece band with no base player. The band Fred Yukka had written and recorded many tunes which are available on itunes.
Jimmy was also in another 5 piece band called Calmoprofunda which was a fusion of rock drum and base and hip hop. One of his favourites tunes was a Trip Hop cover version of “Love me like a reptile” by Motorhead. The music was created using a mixture of rock guitar and techno devices with sysnthesizers and along with acoustic percussion and the sound of the didgerido.
